Stephenson, Ross Willis:
Passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Grand River Hospital, in Kitchener, ON at the age of 79.
Survived by sister Dianne Jensen, and sons Philip (Vivian), Scott (Tracy), Todd (Terri-lynn). Ross leaves behind his grandchildren Blake, Kayla, Thallia, Alexander, Chloe, Nicholas, Antonia, and Jacob.
A lifelong outdoorsman, Ross was fond of nature and could often be found somewhere off the beaten path, near a fishing hole. You may have learned something from him, he was a teacher for many years with the Waterloo Region District School Board. He was a kind brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend who enjoyed music, art, a game of cards, and a good laugh. In his greatest role, he was a loving father to his three sons.
Ross's family will receive relatives and friends for a Celebration of Life, from 3:00 - 6:00 PM, on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
As expressions of sympathy, his family asks that in lieu of flowers you consider donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation, St. Mary's Hospital Foundation or the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society (cards available at the funeral home).
