Rosanne Brown (Nee Murphy):
BA RN 1958-2022
Rosanne peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Rosanne was always all about helping people. First as a social worker in group homes for troubled teens, then for Sunbeam group homes before ending her career as a RN at St. Mary’s.
She has left a huge hole in the hearts of her children Brenden (Melissa), Laura (Mike), Madeline (Jeff), and her husband of 40 years, Gordon.
Oma to Rex and Theo.
She will be sadly missed by her siblings Paul, Stephen, Larry, David, Lois, Leona, Bernadette, Margaret, Christine, Sharon and Elaine.
She will also be missed aunts, uncles and dozens of first cousins, as well as by her “team” at St. Marys.
There is no way I can thank everyone enough for the care we received at Grand River ICU 5B. It’s just as Rosanne would have done.
Rosanne’s family will receive family and friends from 5 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467. Rosanne’s life will be celebrated with a service held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Reception to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to either St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation or Grand River Hospital Foundation for new MRI machine would be appreciate by the family (cards may be placed by calling the Henry Walser Funeral Home.
