Ron pastored at the congregation at Dickson's Hill early in his pastoral life and become a regional hero to those who knew of him in the other local Missionary Church congregations. This spiritual impact was because of his courage, strength and faith he demonstrated when he returned to Brazil after his motorcylce accident. Through the Lord, Jeanette was a big part of making this possible attending to his special needs.
Thank you Lord, for this couples example for local young people who watched and read about a life dedicated to cross-cultural ministry. Their example helped some of us take the same step to serve outside Canada too.
Deus se abencoe,

So many memories of EBC days and your coming and going from Brazil! The picture tribute was a enlightening mirror of your life together filled with so many experiences...lives you touched, pastors and leaders you taught, buildings that Ron oversaw and so many special family times. May God's comfort surround you as life will change so much! This comes with our deepest sympathy and our prayers for you and your family. With His love. Murray and Gale

Our hearts are saddened at the news of Ron's passing. Words seem so empty when we try to express our sense of loss. We are praying that you will have strength and courage as you get through this difficult time. We first met Ron at Emmanuel Bible College and became good friends during the four years we spent together. Memories of our many experiences strongly remain with us, all emphasizing the fact that he was a very special person - strong, kind, caring and wise beyond his years. While we have not had more than casual contacts over the past few years, Ron has always remained in our hearts as one of our lasting friends.

Dear Jeanntte, Condolences to you and your family. Ron was an inspiration for me beginning about 28 years ago at Bethany. He gave me a booklet he had prepared of prayers in the Bible. Every time since then when I read a prayer in the Bible I remember Ron and his encouraging words and deeds. He was a bright light for Jesus in this world and it is comforting to know that Ron is at peace. We pray that God will give you comfort and peace in the days ahead. Roger and Laurie Kufske
