Obituary for Robert Gordon Potje
It is with profound sadness we announce the death of our son, brother and uncle, Robert Gordon Potje. Rob was born on February 18, 1980, in Stratford, Ontario. He leaves behind his parents, Dan and Laura Potje as well as his sister Dana (Paul) Bucek and two nephews whom he adored. Cherished grandson of Matthew (Anna) Potje and Patricia Morrison. Dear nephew of Dave and Kathy Plourde, Jane and Tom Davies and Sue Morrison.
Rob was a generous soul with a great love for his family. He was a Red Seal Ironworker with Local 721 Toronto and was proud of the projects he had worked on. He loved food, cars, and new socks. He always said he would wear a brand-new pair of socks every day if he could (they were never the same once you washed them).
In memory of Rob please contribute to your local food bank and donate a pair of brand-new socks to a shelter.
