McConnell, Robert Ross
Passed away peacefully at the Village of Winston Park on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 in his 87th year.
Beloved husband of Jeanne (nee Allen) for 66 years. Loving father of Lynn Jelfs, Mary Tripp (Randy), Shelley McConnell (Neil Mills) and Colleen McConnell (John Cunningham). Proud Grandpa of Dustin (Cheryl), Doug (Lindsay), Jason (Danielle), Troy (predeceased), Jodi (Tom), Lauren, Tori (Chad), Amy (Daniel), Stephanie (Connor), Myles and 10 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Ted (Jill), Donna (Mel) and the late Ken. Brother-in-law of Judy. Uncle Bob will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families.
Bob had a 38 year teaching career with Eastwood Collegiate and Kitchener Collegiate Institute. He spent over 30 years with RCAC Cadets and enjoyed playing his fiddle - either with small bands or just to jam. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Bob's family will receive relatives and friends from 12-12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.
