Lavery, Robert (Bob)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father on Thursday,
March 18, 2021 at the age of 93. After a short stay at St. Mary’s General Hospital, he passed away peacefully with his children by his side.
Beloved husband of the late Betty (nee Hannaford) for 72 years. Father of Larry
(Marion), Brian (Karen), and Brenda (Barry) Brodofske. Cherished grandpa of
Tricia (Vince), Shawn (Ruth), Jennifer (Travis), Jeffrey (Stacey), Travis (Krystin), and Andrew; great-grandpa of Alexis, Brooke, Kade, Tyler, Reis, Ava, Sara, Gabrielle, and Blake. Predeceased by his two sisters Jeannette and Yvonne, and his brother Bill. Survived by his brother-in-law Don (Christina) Hannaford.
Bob’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, (519) 749-8467. A funeral will take place on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Guests must RSVP to attend Bob’s visitation and funeral due to COVID-19 restrictions through the funeral home website. Masks are mandatory.
The family would like to acknowledge the care and support Bob received at
Bankside Terrace Retirement Residence, and from the doctors and fourth floor
nursing staff at St. Mary’s Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation would be
appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
