Underwood, Rick
Rick was a loving family man who loved to chat and was a big Toronto Maple Leafs fan. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the age of 60. Beloved husband of Cathy. Loving father of Nikki Hinsperger (Dan) and Shannon Pilipovic (Dan). Proud Papa of Hailey, Taylor and Nora. Beloved son of Grace (late George Hartung) and the late Gordon Underwood. Survived by his brothers Paul (Kim) and Bob (Christine) and by his sister-in-law Sandy (Bryan). Dear son-in-law of Therese and the late Bill Rennick. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Rick's life will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Visit www.henrywalser.com for Rick's memorial.
