The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rich Reidel can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Sharon Raymond
Condolence: Deb:

I don’t know where you are, Ontario or Alberta, or somewhere in between.

When you called to tell me about Rich I was up to my ears in stuff, and it’s only just been sinking in the last few days, that, even though it’s been many years since I’ve seen Rich, he was one of the first people I new on this earth. Our families lived side by side when we were just toddlers, living in the wilds of rural Kitchener/Waterloo…Rummelhardt Road?? I’m so thankful that, through the years, we have managed to keep in touch. I talked to Rich on the phone a number of times, hearing about his cats, his ballooning, and his more recent problems, but never had the chance to actually get together with him. I so much regret that now.

I still have the old black and whites of all of us on the swing set in the backyard! These pictures will keep those wonderful memories alive.

My deepest condolences to you and Ger and the girls, who will miss him enormously!

Much love,
Sharon
