Obituary for Richard Embro-Pantalony

Richard Henry Andrew Embro-Pantalony
April 2, 1959 – May 4, 2022

Passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus after fighting a courageous two year battle with cancer at the age of 63 years.

Cherished husband of 39 years and best friend of Carolyn Embro-Pantalony. Survived by his sister Isabel Robitaille (Michael), brother Vaughn Embro-Pantalony (Beverley), sister-in-law Cindy Brenner (Shawn), sister-in-law Sandra Howling (Brian), father-in-law Wayne Schiedel and mother-in-law Ruth Schiedel. Predeceased by his parents MaryAnne and Joseph Embro-Pantalony and brother-in-law Colin Schiedel. Beloved Uncle Rick to Anique Dettbarn (Kurt), Sarah Robitaille, Courtney Winhold, Zack Winhold, Brandon Schiedel and Lindsay Schiedel.

Richard is fondly remembered for his fabulous sense of humour as he loved to make others laugh, and his keen interest in military history. He was a lifelong resident of Kitchener, enjoyed a successful real estate career and also owned and managed a personnel business.

Special thanks to the kind and compassionate care of the Palliative Care nursing team and the PSW team that allowed him to remain at home, and for all the prayers and support of friends and family during this difficult time.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener (519-749-8467) on Sunday, May 8, 2022, from 5-8 p.m. and on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 9:30-10:15 a.m.
The service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday at 10:30 a.m. with a reception to follow.
Interment in Breslau Mennonite Cemetery.
