A Meaningful Time with Jim

My husband, Gilbert and I were a young couple with one little son, around 1969, and pregnant with another child. Jim and Ken Campbell were doing a crusade in our little town - Blaine Lake, SK. I actually played the piano for him and he stayed in our little apartment with us. I started spotting but kept playing the piano hoping all would be well. I soon did lose the baby and Jim was such a comfort to us. He would sing the song, "Singing I Go Along Life's Road" and while we were driving in to emergency, this song kept going around in my head. The phrase "For Jesus has lifted my load" was such a comfort to me. I am writing my life story and came upon this time of our lives. I looked him up and saw that he had recently died so thought you might like to hear this story. I trust you are grieving well and finding comfort in your memories.
