Dear Adrienne and Family, We feel privileged to have had Pastor Jim Reese as OUR Pastor for over 10 years. Trying to adjust to the Canadian culture and having arrived in the middle of a recession wasn’t easy. Pastor Jim’s and Adrienne’s words of encouragement, wise advice and unwavering faith were crucial, when what we saw around us (i.e. people losing jobs and houses) was not at all encouraging. With gratitude we remember those times, and many other occasions that followed, which made the chapter of faith (Hebrew 11) so real to us. Without the support of our immediate family (who was 8,000 kilometers away) we were reminded once again to have “confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see” (Hebrew 11:1). And what better example of faith in action than Pastor Jim and Adrienne Reese! We will be forever grateful and have you in our hearts! With love, Sorina and Angelo Ciucurita
