Obituary for Jean Power

Power, Jean (Fitzgerald)
It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of our fun-loving Mother, Sister, Friend, Nanny and Great Nan at the age of 76. After a brief illness Jean unexpectedly passed on Thursday, October 10, 2019 with the loves of her life by her side.
Jean was a force to be reckoned with. She loved her grandchildren & great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Tammy Ferraccioli (Rob) and her son Tom Power (Michelle). Jean is predeceased by her husband Tom (2010) & her son Kevin (2009). Nanny will be missed by her grandchildren Shayne, Cory, Alicia (Kenny), Joey (Angel) and Nicole (Bob). The little loves of her life were Lily, Layla, Noah, Nicholas & Baby Ellie. Jean had a very special bond with her brother and sisters Ed Fitzgerald (Sue), Ruby Dowhaniuk (Ron), Joan McKibben and Jerry Fitzgerald (Lynda). Predeceased by her sister Barb Norcott. Survived by her brother-in-law Jack Norcott. She will surely be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Mom loved meeting her friends on Tuesday for coffee and enjoyed playing cards with the girls. Jean will be missed by her friend John Hammond. She loved our family get togethers. They won’t be the same without her. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to join us for a celebration of Jean's life on Monday, October 14, 2019 from 1-4 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, 655 Wabanaki Dr. As expressions of sympathy donations to the KW Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the Henry Walser Funeral Home).
