Rouleau, Phyllis Monica Ann:
Passed away surrounded by her loving family, on May 24, 2023, at Grand River Hospital - Freeport Site, in Kitchener, ON at the age of 76.
Beloved wife of the late George McArthur, who predeceased Phyllis in 2007.
Cherished mother of Darryl (Maryjoyce) Rouleau.
Phyllis leaves behind her dear grand-puppy Porkchop.
Loving sister of Mary (late Knut) Thorstensen-Woll, Dolores (Clarence) Blaskavitch, Beverly (Douglas) McLeod, Martin Jr. Smaglinskie.
Dear sister-in-law to Mike McArthur (Diane).
Predeceased by her siblings Darlene (Jack) Chaput, Lorna (Daniel) Zilney, Shirley Carmel Smaglinskie, and also predeceased by her in-laws Alvin (late Margaret) Cowan, Bill (Donna) McArthur, Sonia (late Barry) Hamilton.
Phyllis will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and good friends John and Marenia Myers.
For the past 33 summers, Phyllis spent her days at her "Happy Place," the trailer. This is where she would spend her time gardening and playing cards. She could also be found in a crowd, at local bluegrass festivals. Phyllis now leaves an empty seat at the campfire.
Phyllis's family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 a.m - 10:15 a.m. on Monday, May 29, 2023, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral will take place in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow.
In keeping with Phyllis' wishes, cremation will take place. Interment of Ashes will be held at a later date, in Barry's Bay.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Waterloo Wellington or to the Kitchener - Waterloo Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
