After a courageous battle with cancer, Philoma passed away peacefully on June 5, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener, ON at the age of 62. She left this world holding hands with her husband, son and daughter. Her smile, kind heart, and strength in her faith will forever be in our hearts. Beloved Wife of Aloshious George for 33 years. Dear Mother to Abin and Merlin. The best “Amma” (Grandmother) to Maya. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Marykutty Madhavappallil, and her father-in-law George Palamootil.
Philoma's family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Agnes RC Church, 75 Bluevale Street North, Waterloo on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Burial to take place at Parkview Cemetery.
