Wiebe, Peter:
Passed away peacefully on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Trinity Village Care Centre at the age of 91.
Loving brother of Elsie (the late Bill) Dyck, Johanna (the late Peter) Martens, Walter (Doris) Wiebe and Werner (Linda) Wiebe and brother-in-law of Martha Mjolsness.
Will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers George, Jack (Erica), John (Alma) and Henry (Mary).
Peter had a strong faith and personal relationship with his Lord and Saviour Jesus. He was longtime member of Kitchener Mennonite Brethern Church (WMB).
Peter was a steadfast and valuable employee of the Maintenance Department at Sunnyside Home. Peter was well known among the residents and would often help them with fixing their wheelchairs, walkers and personal effects.
Peter enjoyed puttering with his computer and was always looking for new and interesting programs to teach himself. Before starting at Sunnyside, Peter was a professional photographer for 14 years. He was often relied on for his photography expertise.
Peter's gentle nature could be seen in the number of birds he rescued through the years. His philosophy was always "if a job is worth doing, it is worth doing right"
