It is with heavy hearts the family of Peter announce his passing at home in Kitchener, on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the age of 44. Loving dad of Lily V. Smith. Much loved son of Dave and his wife Dale Smith, and predeceased by his mother Susan. He will be remembered by Lily's mom, Melinda Verebes. Dear brother of Tamara Schmelzle (Steven), David (Nikki) Smith, and Ashley Litt (Kory). He will also be remembered by his nieces and nephew, Emma, Grace, and Jack Schmelzle, and Aurora Litt.
Peter's family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. on Monday, September 30, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the CMHA Waterloo Wellington or Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
