Brown, Pearl M.

Passed away peacefully at Derbecker's Heritage House in St. Jacobs on Friday, March 15, 2024 at the age of 94.

Predeceased by her husband Joseph Brown (1962). Loving mother of Sharon Gerling (late Don), Robert Brown (Beverly) and Jan Brown. Proud Grandma of Kelly Mear (Charles), Kristin Corbett (Glen), Melanie Dumoulin (Justin) and Deanna Brown (Frank Aramini). Great-grandmother of Grace and Adam Mear, Joseph Corbett and Julianna, Roslyn and Noah Aramini. Survived by her sister Marjorie Hannis. Predeceased by her parents Lydia and Irvin Reptke, brother Elmer Reptke, sister Doris and her husband Elmer Wieland, son-in-law Don Gerling and brother-in-law Gord Hannis.

Pearl worked at Merchants Rubber during WWII, then ran her own daycare center and boarding house, later she was a supervisor in the kitchen at Grand River Hospital. Many thanks for the amazing care and friendship by all the staff at Heritage House in St. Jacobs.

Pearl's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:30 p.m.-3:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (519) 749-8467. Memorial Service in the chapel on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery.
