Obituary for Patrick Perchaluk

Perchaluk, Patrick Samuel:

Of Kitchener, passed away suddenly at Grand River Hospital on Friday, July 1, 2022 at the age of 66.

Loving son of the late Paul and Martha Perchaluk.
Patrick will be sorely missed by his brothers Paul Robert (Mary) and John (Brian), and sister Deborah.
Remembered as a loving uncle of Kathleen, Jaclyn, Brianne, Samuel, Zachary and Quinton.

Patrick was always busy planning his next adventure on his motorcycle or in one of his many cars. One of his favourite trips on his motorcycle was his spontaneous trip to Western Canada and Alaska. Patrick spent 38 years as a loyal and proud employee in the Canadian Postal System. Patrick was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 50, and had previously served in the Highland Fusiliers of Canada. He spent many years as a coach with the Kitchener Minor Hockey Association, which he enjoyed immensely. In retirement, he enjoyed leading a simpler life, and never missed watching a Nascar Cup Race.

As per Patrick's wishes, cremation has taken place. A committal service only will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Mount Hope Cemetery, 175 Moore Ave., Kitchener. A Celebration of Patrick's Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 519-749-8467.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the SickKids Foundation in Toronto would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
