Remembering Mum

Dear Mum, When I first met you up at Lion's Head, Ontario 33 years ago in 1987 we hit it off right away. You were a little, shy, reserved and polite whereas I as always was rather cheeky and outspoken. (Opposites do attract right!) Anyway that was my first time meeting the whole family as I had just met Glenn 5 months before on New Year's Eve. You and Dad, Brad & Mary and all their 7 children, Craig, Aunt Wynne, Uncle Vern and Aunt Lil, Cousin Mark, and Uncle Vern's sister Margaret who lived next door. We shared so many fun times together. We took you to see Mama Mia downtown Toronto for your birthday which was a beautiful show and so uplifting. On another occasion you stayed overnight at our house and you had beer can chicken for your first time which you really liked. Dad disliked chicken so you always enjoyed chicken anytime.:) Remember going to Seneca Niagara Casino with Glenn and I on several occasions and had a blast. So happy for these times we shared with you mum. You attended every family gathering before and after dad passing be it Christmas, birthdays, weddings, bridal and baby showers. We were so thankful you were always there for us. I still find it so difficult to believe your are gone from us all so suddenly. Rest in peace in God's Heavenly Kingdom. I will miss and love you always. Susan
