Wilkinson, Neil James:
With grace, courage and strength, Neil passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of family on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Sunnyside home at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of the late Barbara for 61 years.
Loving father of Dale (Norma), Glenn (Linda), Lori (Denis) Dannecker, Lynne McCracken (David).
Cherished grandpa to Elyse (Jeff), Evan (Kaylene), Joel (Cheyenne), Brett (Sam), Rachel (Justin), Kayla (Rob), Vincent (Emily), Meghan and Liam.
Neil will be missed and remembered by his great-grandchildren Aiden, Brianna, Jovi, Dax, Sawyer, Theo, and Tyson.
Neil is survived by his brother Grant (Sue). Brother-in-law of Norm Pratt, Marie McMann, Jack (Pat) Duggan, Val Duggan, Lea Duggan. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, James and Jean (nee Grant) Wilkinson, his brother, Bruce (Maria), sister Heather and his brothers and sisters-in-law Brian Duggan, Jim Duggan, Reg McMann, Frank (Madeline) Duggan, Eileen (Ray) Hardy, Gerry (Midge) Duggan, Ethel (Ray) Dempster and Merv (Marlene) Duggan.
Neil's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 1:00-2:45 p.m.
The memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. For those unable to attend, you may view the service via livestream at https://www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming
