Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital surrounded by family, on Friday, July 26, 2019 at the age of 88.

Beloved husband of the late Helen MacMillan (nee King). Loving father of Brent (Debbie), Mark (Sharon), Scott (the late Carolyn) and Jane McHendry. Proud grandfather of Leah (Brian) Mensinga, Danika (Mike) Lowe, Karah (Justin) McIntosh, Ian MacMillan, Cindy MacMillan, Sarah MacMillan (Wes), Laura McHendry (Brandon), and Emily McHendry (Neil). He will also be missed by eight great-grandchildren.

Morris was a well-respected teacher and principal for many years in the Waterloo region. He excelled at public speaking and entertaining people with his stories and great sense of humor. He spent many summers at the family cottage on Miller Lake, where he enjoyed campfires, woodworking, happy hour, and spending time with family, friends and neighbours.

Morris' family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Kidney Foundation of Canada - Ontario Branch or the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
