Passed away on December 20, 2023 at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, ON at the age of 65.
Beloved wife of Danny Horniblow.
Loving mother of Michael Horniblow, Andrew Horniblow and his spouse Virginie Tremblay.
Dearest Nana of Ariana Reichstein, Sloane Vanderloo and Riley Vanderloo.
Michele is re-united with her Mother Evelyn, her Father Harry and her sisters Joan and Linda in Heaven. She will be greatly missed by her brothers and sisters Jean, Anne, Marie, Harry, Regina, Nancy and George. She will also be missed by her many in-laws, nieces and nephews and friends she made within the community.
Michele battled cancer with unwavering courage and determination for many years and was dedicated to her family every step of the way, routinely putting care for her loved ones ahead of herself. Michele had incredible perseverance and was always quick to forgive. Her strength and grace will surely leave an everlasting impression.
Michele's family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday, January 5, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 2:30 PM-3:15 PM with a Memorial Service to follow in the chapel at 3:30 PM.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Grand River Hospital Foundation- Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
