Stranded at the farm

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing-my condolences to family and friends. A half century ago, our grade 8 teacher took us to Moorefield to experience a day in the life of a horse trainer-Mike's Blue Diamond Stable. We had a blast for the day, enjoying Mike and his wife's (Pat) tours and overall hospitality. Near the end of the day we had a game of hide and seek, which I must have won-they went back to K-W with me still hiding in the hayloft:-) Pat got the car keys out and gave me a lift back to Kitchener! I don't think I ever got to thank her due to my tender age, but it's never too late-thanks Pat if you're reading this;-) The singing reinsman sings with angels now-peace and love to all. Karl Holub
