It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Michael (Mike) O'Dwyer, our loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all whose lives he touched, on January 12, 2023.
Mike will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Janice of over 26 years, sister Betty, children Sean (Zita), Darren (Anna), Mike (Dana), Greg and Cindy, grandchildren David, Ryan, Nick, Zack, Hunter, Kieran, Akaisha, Teagan and Carson, great-granddaughter Sophia and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Mike was predeceased by his parents (Phoebe and Michael), brothers (Eddie and Bill) and sisters (Peggy, Maureen and Nancy).
He was the ringleader of our tight-knit family and our hearts are broken that he’s not physically with us anymore. His grandkids were his entire life and it’s hard to imagine not having him at every single significant life event. We love you Grandpa Mike and we know you’ll continue to watch over us.
Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, which the family will announce.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
