Cherrett, Michael James Andrew:
Passed away peacefully following a stroke on February 20, 2021 at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, at the age of 54. Dearly loved husband of Jane Chaikowsky, he will be lovingly remembered by his children Sara Chaikowsky (Andrew) and James Cherrett. Loving son of Diana Cherrett (the late David Cherrett), survived by his father Caleb Higgins (Crystal), his brother Chuck Cherrett (Maya), and his step mother Rose and step sister Samantha . Mike loved old cars, car racing and tinkering in the shop with anything mechanical. His quick wit will be missed by family, friends and all whose lives he touched.
Private cremation has taken place, arrangements are entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
