The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Maureen Ganci can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Dear Philip and Family
I am sorry to hear of your mother's death. It is always sad to lose loved ones, especially a mom.
Many years ago, 60 or so, our families were very close. My parents were Pat and Mike Reidel and my brother's name was Rick. Back then I was called Debbie.
You and my brother and I spent many wonderful days playing out in the fields at the flying club while our parents spent time inside with the adults.
I remember with fondness the fun we had.
Time passes and people get busy with other parts of their lives and we lose touch, but there is always a soft spot in the heart for old friends. My parents often spoke of your parents and once in awhile they'd bump into each other.
Before my mother died, five years ago, I was back in Waterloo taking care of her. When she wasn't well enough to go out we played "remember when" and your Mom's name came up. We wondered how your family was doing.
See, good friends are never forgotten. Those memories of those wonderful bygone days will remain with me always.
You are in my thoughts as you go through this difficult time. Take care of yourself.
Deb Ertel (nee Reidel)
