Owen, Matthew "Lloyd":

It with great sadness that the Owen family announces the passing of a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Lloyd Owen, on May 30th, 2020 in his 92nd year. His loving wife, Muriel, will miss him dearly. He will be fondly remembered by his children Catherine (Dennis) and Gareth (Jacqueline), and stepchildren Bernie (Jacquie), Barry (MaryLynn), Randy, Barb (Moe), and Elizabeth. Grandpa was adored by his grandchildren David, Andrea, Caitlyn and Matthew, and step-grandchildren Tara, Megan, Becky, Leighton, Sean, Geena, Brandon, Jen and Katie. Lloyd also leaves behind his great grandson Caden and step-great grandchildren James, Emma, Alia, Quinne, Haeden and Alex. He is survived by his sister Kathy (Lorne) Scott and brother Jack Jones. Lloyd was predeceased by his parents William Jones and Ellen Thompson, step grandchild Ben, and Brother Glyn. He is also predeceased by his previous wife, Nansi. He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Cremation has taken place. Those who were touched by Lloyd's life will be invited to a celebration in Wasaga Beach at a later date.
