De Vrieze, Mary

Passed away on November 15, 2022 at Parkwood Mennonite Home at the age of 94.

Loving mom of Grady Jr. (Pam), Paul (Carolyn), Tim and Carol (Marcel Naus). Predeceased by her husband Grady Sr., her son Anthony and daughter-in-law, Laura. Grandmother to Carey, Mike, Katherine, Cassidy, Natasha, Robert, Steven, Evan, Ryan, Sara, Wesley and Parker. Great-grandmother to Lily and Mills.

She was the mom everyone wishes they had - she loved her children unconditionally and was the best grandma anyone could ask for. She was magic with children and amazing at everything that had to do with making a home for her family- from baking endless quantities of sugar cookies at Christmas to holiday dinners with all of her specialites and family favourites, even jello salad. We miss her dearly but are thankful that she is now at peace and no longer suffering. We are so grateful to have had such a special little lady as our mom and grandma.

Private cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
