Black, Mary Margaret:
Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Saturday April 30, 2022 at the age of 80. Mary was born on February 4, 1942 to John and Julia Black. She is survived by her sister-in-law Lorraine Cook, nephews and niece Richard and Andrea Black, Michelle and Michael Coffey and Jeffrey and Jolien Cook, and grand-nieces and nephews Katelyn and William Black and Shae and Reese Coffey and Frey Cook. Predeceased by her parents and her brothers Angus and Michael and Bernard. Mary was an elementary school teacher, a devout Roman Catholic, and a thoughtful and caring person who never missed a loved ones birthday. She always brought a smile and laughter to a conversation, along with a camera in hand to capture special family moments.
Mary’s family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11th at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A memorial mass will be held at St. Aloysius Parish, 11 Traynor Avenue, Kitchener on Thursday, May 12th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held on Saturday, May 14th at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Cemetery, Glenelg, Twp.
