The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mary Ann Snider can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Murray & Alison Sherk
Condolence: Mary Ann and my mother, Anne Sherk, were great friends. Mary Ann always seemed delighted to see me, even though I'm the "other" Murray Sherk (not her son-in-law), on the occasional times when we met. Our work in China made those interactions rare, but they are great memories for me; I remember big, bright smiles. We are praying for you, the family, as you adjust to Mary Ann's home-going.

Condolence From: Marilyn & Don Shuart
Condolence: Our hearts are sad for you as a family and yet we rejoice in knowing that Mary Ann is with Jesus. What a beautiful, gracious and wonderful lady. She always had a word of encouragement and a big smile. We loved her giggle and her zest for life. What precious memories we have of the annual church corn roast at the Timlock home, one of many ways their hospitality was shared. We will be praying for you during this most difficult time.

Condolence: Thank you, Mary Ann for your profound influence in Karen and my lives. You and Tim were examples of lives surrendered to Jesus and modeled for us how to trust Him. We rejoice in your 'homegoing'. Love Karen and Mark.

Condolence From: Mary Ellen Hagglund
Condolence: As a young 9 year old girl I was greatly influenced by Mrs. Snider's open and endearing personality. Her daughter & I became fast friends in 4th grade and I couldn't wait to be invited to Pioneer Girls Club.
When I was asked, my life changed dramatically as faithfully their family would pick me up for weekly Club meetings. I rose in the ranks of PGC, loving every minute. I learned much from Mrs. Snider, her hospitality, cheery life attitude & care for her garden. She was devoted in her love for God, family and service.
She was a hard working woman & no task was daunting. I can still remember her twinkle in her eye, broad smile & contagious laughter. I did spend a lot of time in her home, perhaps too much. She made it very inviting & those memories linger on many decades later.
It's hard to watch you gradually slip away with failing health but you have gone on to your final resting place, in the arms of Jesus. No doubt you will be greatly missed by many but not forgotten.

Much appreciation,
Mary Ellen Hagglund (nee Reibling)
