The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mary Ann Snider can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Mary Ellen Hagglund

As a young 9 year old girl I was greatly influenced by Mrs. Snider's open and endearing personality. Her daughter & I became fast friends in 4th grade and I couldn't wait to be invited to Pioneer Girls Club. When I was asked, my life changed dramatically as faithfully their family would pick me up for weekly Club meetings. I rose in the ranks of PGC, loving every minute. I learned much from Mrs. Snider, her hospitality, cheery life attitude & care for her garden. She was devoted in her love for God, family and service. She was a hard working woman & no task was daunting. I can still remember her twinkle in her eye, broad smile & contagious laughter. I did spend a lot of time in her home, perhaps too much. She made it very inviting & those memories linger on many decades later. It's hard to watch you gradually slip away with failing health but you have gone on to your final resting place, in the arms of Jesus. No doubt you will be greatly missed by many but not forgotten. Much appreciation, Mary Ellen Hagglund (nee Reibling)
