Bartel, Mark "Goldfinger"
Passed away peacefully at Hospice of Waterloo Region on Wednesday July 27, 2022 at the age of 62. He will lovingly be remembered by his many dear friends. Predeceased by his parents Max and Emilie, brother Fred, sister Anne and Oma Francisca.
Mark was an avid hunter spending many hunting seasons at Conestogo Dam. Throughout his hunting career, he never missed a shot which earned him the nickname, "Goldfinger." He also enjoyed drag racing and fishing. Mark was a 35+ year employee at J.M. Schneider.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Tuesday August 2, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
