Marilyn Glasser-Lang

May 9, 1946 - May 25, 2022 – It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marilyn Glasser-Lang of Kitchener, aged 76. Surrounded by family, Marilyn passed away at Parkwood Mennonite Home in Waterloo the evening of May 25, 2022.

Loving wife of Philip Lang, cherished mother of Rhonda (Michael) Cherevaty, their children Emily and Madeline, Scott (Wendy) Gibbons, their children Tori, Nathan and Aislynn and Joanne (Michael) Glasser, their fur baby Keeva.

Bonus mom to Michael (Brenda) Lang, Gillian (Bruce) Colville and Adrian (Kerri) Lang, and their families.

Marilyn is survived by her beloved brother Jim McCullough, bonus sister Joyce Reinhart, and many adored nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by extended family and friends.

She is predeceased by her previous husband Donny Glasser, her parents Mabel (Ian McCulloch) and Cecil McCullough, sister Sheila (Arthur) Walsh, sister-in-law Karen McCullough, and granddaughter Cassandra Forte (Mrs. Joe Vilon).

Marilyn was an active member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Kitchener, volunteer with K-W Hospice and a member of the Gloryland Chorus and is well remembered for her prize-winning crochet projects and baking, especially for her world-famous, award-winning butter tarts.

Marilyn's family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, and from 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on June 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM with a light reception to follow. Those who are unable to attend Marilyn's service on Thursday are invited to join the family via live-stream at https://www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming starting with a video tribute at 12:45 PM.
