Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener, in her 88th year.
Beloved wife of the late Grant (2003).
Loving mother of Shari Moritz (David).
Cherished grandmother of Derek and Kevin (Nicole Gibbons).
Marilyn had a passion for people. She loved cottaging up north and always enjoyed many pleasant drives in the countryside. She adored her dear husband and only daughter. She was so proud of her two grandsons. Her family was everything to her, and together they made many fun, fond and lasting memories. Among her hobbies, she loved to read, knit and play cards.
A private family inurnment will take place at Elora Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. John's Anglican Church, Elora or the Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
