Condolence From: Marika Jacso
Condolence: I didn't realize Maria had passed....just noted this today. Beautiful woman...beautiful family. She taught me much when I was younger. I'd often go to her home to bake something...she made the best dobos torta. My condolences to the family. I am sure wherever she is, she is smiling and looking over all her loved ones.

Condolence From: Lauren Ferraz
Condolence: Marika was one of my grandmother's dearest friends and we spent many Sunday afternoons at her kitchen table talking, singing songs from Evita, and sharing stories of the old country. She made me my first dirndl and was so kind to me. May you be rejoined with your dear friends in the afterlife. Love from the Oliva Family.

Condolence From: Ericha Schiketantz
Condolence: As I sit here and hold your hand embracing every moment of it, it truly makes me think about life. You are my everything, a woman I will always look up to. 35 years ago you sold everything you owned packed up only your essential belongings and brought your two sons and husband from Romania to Canada to make a better life for yourselves. It takes a very brave women to do something like that and if it wasn’t for you doing so I would never be here today. You taught we everything I know; cook, clean, garden basically everything to be a good house wife. I love looking at pictures of us when I was a kid and seeing the smilies on our faces. I will never forget any of that. I know soon you will be with grandpa In heaven and you both will watch down over us making sure that we are ok cause that’s what family does. I love you so much nagymama and you will always be my inspiration ❤️😘
