Passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by colleagues, on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 5:25 a.m. at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener, ON at the age of 74. Cherished mom of Laszlo (Elly) Sarkany. Dear sister of Erzsebet Brasnyo and dear aunt of Szilvester (Anna) Brasnyo, Antal Brasnyo and Attila (Aniko) Hodonicki. Predeceased by parents, Peter and Rozalija Horvath, sister, Rozalija Hodonicki, nephew, Teodore Borisev, and brother-in-law, Gergely Brasnyo.
Maria's family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. EST (21:00 - 22:00 Central European Time) on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
