Obituary for Maria Theresa Meenan (Reilly)
Meenan, Maria:
Passed away, peacefully, with family by her side, on Tuesday, May 21st, 2019 at her home at the age of 76. She is survived by her beloved husband, John, and four sons John Paul, Terence (Angela), Desmond (Stacy) and Brendan. She leaves behind her eleven grandchildren, as well as six sisters and five brothers (two brothers predeceased).
Maria's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (vigil prayers at 8:30 p.m.) on Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Requiem Mass will take place at St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, 55 Driftwood Dr., Kitchener, on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery in Linsday, Ontario, on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Right to Life Association of Kitchener Waterloo and area would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
