Passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Home on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at the age of 88.
Beloved wife of the late Steve Bodnar. Survived by her step-children Tom Bodnar and Emily Borsc. Step grandmother of Tom and Brian (Kim) and step great-grandmother of Jeremy and Christopher. Dear sister of Andrej (predeceased), Jan, Anna, Jozef (predeceased), Helena and Zuzana. Maria was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and their families.
Maria's family will receive relatives and friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener (519) 749-8467. Prayers 7:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Daniel RC Church, 29 Midland Drive, on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington.
