Obituary for Margaret Elizabeth Iutzi
IUTZI, Margaret Elizabeth:
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Elizabeth Iutzi (nee Good) on Friday, April 30, 2021 after a brief illness. Marg is now reunited with her best friend and beloved partner, Stanley (predeceased 2019). Our family is fondly remembering our cherished mother and devoted grandmother.
She leaves behind her son, Michael and his partner Diana; daughter, Cheryl Shane and her husband Daryl; and daughter, Shelley Townend and her husband Brian. Much loved grandmother to Ryan Iutzi and his wife Torrey, Taylor Iutzi, Benjamin Shane and his partner Sarah, Carly Shane, and Sadie Townend. Sister to Donald Good and his wife Renee and Sandra Good and her partner Glen. Predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Eva Good; daughter-in-law, Judy Iutzi; and grand-daughter, Abby Iutzi.
Marg was a long-time member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Kitchener. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed making meals for her family and friends – especially brown butter noodles for her grandkids! She had a passion for interior decorating and all who entered her beautiful home always felt welcome. In recent years, she was very active in the Valleyview Manor community – organizing social events and holiday décor alongside her close friend, Margaret – the duo affectionately known as the “M&M’s”. Marg will be dearly missed by all who had the good fortune to know and love her.
Private cremation has taken place under the direction of the Henry Walser
Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. A celebration of Marg’s life will be held when gathering restrictions are lifted.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Peter's Lutheran Church - TV Ministry or the Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated by the family.
