Henriques, Manuel "Manny":
Peacefully passed away at home with his wife of 67 years, Fernanda, by his side on September 23, 2020 at the age of 87. Manny is survived by his three loving children Fatima (Mitch) Mitchell, Maria (Tony) Lotimer and Paul (Shari) Henriques. Vovo will be missed by his five cherished grandsons Stephen, Connar (Jazmin), James, Brenden, and Matthew. Manny leaves behind his sister Maria Madelena of Nanaimo, BC. Manny was predeceased by his sister Zeca Reis of London, England. He will be missed by his many other extended family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Manny's life from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Monday, September 28th, 2020 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Guests are kindly asked to RSVP to attend through the funeral home website or by calling the funeral home. Please note: a face mask is required to be worn while visiting the premises.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stoke Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
