Obituary for Madaleen Nosalik

Nosalik, Madaleen Rose (nee Kerr)
died peacefully at home on July 20, 2022 at the age of 87. She will be missed by her loving husband of almost 65 years, John Nosalik, along with her children Carolyn VoisIn (Perry), Kevin Nosalik (Angela) and Peter Nosalik (Richard Armstrong), six grandchildren Tory VoisIn (Jeff Gurney), Sam VoisIn (Taylor), Darby Smith (Andrew), Jordan Fayez, Adam and Elizabeth Nosalik, and her great-granddaughter Margot Rose Gurney.

Madaleen is survived by her siblings Raymond Kerr, Shirley Steffler and Murray Kerr. Predeceased by her parents Sidney and Margaret Kerr, siblings Palmer Kerr, Dorothy Weir, Helen Ditmer and Arleen Kerr and sister-in-law Josephine Pokora.

After graduating from high school in Milverton, Ontario, Madaleen completed a business diploma in Stratford before moving to Kitchener where she met a group of girls who remained life-long friends.

In addition to her close family and wonderful friends, Madaleen's life was enriched by her church, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Kitchener, and her career. She established a printing company, Samson Press, in 1986 and remained its president and driving force until 2020.

Madaleen's family will receive relatives and friends from 10-10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 54 Queen St. North with a Memorial Service and reception to follow.
