Passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 10th, 2023 at Freeport Hospital at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Jose Pereira for 58 years. Loving mother of David (Christina) Pereira and Jorge Pereira. Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Jennifer, Amelia, Ethan, Emma and Julia.
Luzia's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 PM & 6-8PM with vigil prayers at 7:30 PM on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday, September 14th, 2023 at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, 300 Simeon St, Kitchener with interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Parkinson Society of Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
