Obituary for Lottie Jean Ward

Ward, Lottie:

Our hearts are broken and our souls are crushed. Mom earned her wings Jan 29 in her 90th year. She had been in care for the last 2 years and is finally at peace.

She leaves a legacy of family- Terry (Julie), Douglas (Darlene) and Sandra (Marvin) Zieske.
Cherished Bubba of Shannon, Adam (Kristal), Melissa (Jason) and Spencer (Lauren) and five great-grandchildren.
Lottie will always be remembered in the prayers of her sister, Lillian Stamer.
She leaves behind an ‘adopted’son- Jim Maclean.
Predeceased by her parents John and Genevieve Kopec, infant son John, sister Jean Tiffin and companion and best friend Chuck Stuebing.

Lottie was a fashion icon who won the Presidents Club Award for her Avon sales over 20 years. Her recipe for carrot cake and cabbage rolls is securely locked away. Her dance moves will now rock the clouds above. Lottie enjoyed spending the summers on Lake Erie and the winters in Florida with John. In the last years she spent most of her weekends driving around the countryside with Chuck Stuebing. One of their favourite spots was the covered bridge in West Montrose. They also went on a memorable riverboat cruise in the Kawarthas which they both loved. She cherished her multiple trips to Poland to visit family.
The most important moments that she cherished were the times she spent with her family and going to church every Sunday. The family would like to thank Pastor Heike and the congregation at St. Luke’s Lutheran for all their prayers.

As per Lottie's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at Williamsburg Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 519-749-8467.
