Grandpa and I

I remember waking up every morning at the cottage in Sauble to a fresh pot of coffee made by grandpa. He would always call it his "good coffee." Grandpa would sit there on the pouch or in the sun room listening to the bird chipping and read the paper. Always happy and cheerful for a brand new day. My family loved going up there, it was our home away from home. I loved setting up pop cans and having Grandpa watch me hit them all with my bb gun. I wasn't the greatest, but it was the excitement that made me smile. The love my grandpa had for all of us including my Grandma will never stop showing. He had the biggest heart of all and loved us unconditionally. I have so many memories that I'm proud to have shared with my best friend. Most of all I love hearing about grandpa's childhood and how he met my grandmother. He may not be with us anymore, but I know he's always watching over us and sending his love :) R.I.P Grandpa Love Always, Michelle
