Condolence: I met Lorne at the registry office in Kitchener in the 1980s. He always had a smile and hello every time I saw him. He was a great friend of my mother.
I will miss him.

Condolence: My daughterJessica and I met Lorne and Cindy on our cross country train trip last March. We so enjoyed spending time with them and we even hoped that we would be able to do another journey together. They made our trip so special and we are grateful for the time we got to spend with both of them. Please give our love and thoughts to Cindy. Love Sarah and Jessica Parry

Condolence: David's memories of Lorne don't go back nearly as far as mine do but we both so very much enjoyed visits with Lorne and the other cousins when we came to Kitchener for the reunions. Lorne and his siblings would have us in stitches with that off-the-wall Brubacher humour. How wonderful that Lorne remained so sharp and so active for all those years. Our thoughts are with the whole Brubacher family as they say good-bye to a very special guy.

Condolence: To Carol (and Gary and family): How odd that I should contact you the day that you took Lorne to Freeport only two days ago. I may never have known otherwise. It has been two years since my mother, and your family friend Dorothy Eglin passed. Between K-W Barbershoppers and many years of cottage time with Mom, our families have been connected for almost 45 years. I visited him shortly after Mom's death and it was a wonderful visit.
I so happy for you all that Lorne could stay in his home. You will never regret the time you spent making is possible for him to do so. I went to Freeport today to drop by and say hello, and was told that Lorne had wasted no time beating a path toward where your Mom, Vivian and my Mom and Dad await. I Believe....

Condolence: It is with great sadness that I say good bye to one of my favorite Tenors. Lorne brought joy to my heart on Tuesday nights at Chorus practice. He was a joy to direct in the chorus. Sing proudly in the Eternal Chorus, I am sure that if we listen carefully you can still be heard.
