Passed away on October 29, 2022 at Chartwell Westmount LTC in Kitchener, ON at the age of 86.
Loving mother of Ellen Panter (Robbie), Mark Panter and Kirk Spencer (Michelle).
Dear grandmother of Kyle Mills (Janice), Lindsey Mills (Nelson), Tim Panter, Kate Panter, Maya Panter, Ruby Panter, Nolan Spencer and Payton Spencer.
Special great-grandmother to Hillary, Ryan, Noah, Kylie, Bailey, Keira and Alexis.
Will be fondly remembered by her siblings Jim Currie (Estelle) and Jane Sperry (Late Larry).
Predeceased by parents Leslie and Jean and siblings Joan Tennant (Late Ron), Donald Currie (Kay) and Bobby Currie.
Lorna had a successful career as a Legal Secretary for 22 years in Toronto, as well as a Court Reporter in Sudbury for 8 years. Among her many accomplishments was raising Ellen and Mark on her own for many years and receiving her grade 13 in her 50's.
As per the family's request, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Women's Brain Health Initiative would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
