Obituary for Ljubica "Luba" Perisic
Perisic, Ljubica "Luba":
Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, May 01, 2023 at the age of 86.
Loving mother of Sasha (Tammy Constant) Perisic and Daniela Perisic.
Luba was passionate about her beloved garden, she had 1700 trees, plants and flowers in her home garden and was recognized in the Better Home and Garden Magazine five times. Bus loads of people would come to view her garden, which she was so proud of and would share her hard work with others. She had a knack at finding four leaf clovers and reading your fortune through turkish coffee cups.
Luba was a wonderful and loving mother yet her children knew that "it was Luba's way or the highway! "
She was a faithful member of Margaret Ave. New Apostolic Church. Luba was known for her get togethers, cooking, and baking -some of her famous dishes were cabbage rolls, goulash, plum cake, palacinke (crepes) and Luba's famous vanilice cookies. She enjoyed the company of all those who loved her and she appreciated their friendship and treated her friends like family. She retired from Krause Carpets in the early 1990's.
The funeral service will be held at the New Apostolic Church, 160 Margaret Ave. Kitchener, on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 10:30am. A reception will follow in the church hall.
