The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Len Ripley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

My friend for over 60 Years

Dear Barb..... I can't tell you how sorry I am to learn of Len's passing. He was always a favourite work pal of mine. We began our respective careers in London, probably about 60+ years ago. We were both tellers at Br 8 on Dundas St. We took different banking paths but always remained in touch. I remember when he met you Barb. It was sure love at first sight. The wonderful thing is that it always remained so......he was so smitten & often said he was one lucky man. Len had a super sense of humour.....at times a tad off-beat, but always in good taste & so funny. I recall he once told me his favourite song was "Taking Care of Business" by "Bachman Turner Overdrive". It sure was pertinent for that's what Len did all his life......he took care of business. My many memories of times with you & Len are just too many to list here. I will never forget his thoughtfulness coupled with his "tongue in cheek" sly and dry wit. Barb, Rod & I are in Florida for the winter season. However, please know our thoughts will be with you and your family on February 6th. Love, Irene & Rod
