Passed away peacefully, with family by her side on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at St Mary's General Hospital at the age of 90. Beloved wife of Leonard for 57 years. Loving mother of Janice Weiler (Tom), and Karen Wilson (Shayne). Cherished Nana of Erin Kipfer (Evan), Melissa Weiler (Nick), Nathan Wilson, and great-grandmother of Emmett.
Leona's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 240 Hemlock St., Waterloo, ON on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Parkview Cemetery followed by a reception at Henry Walser Funeral Home. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Campbell and the nursing staff for their compassionate care.
