McNorton, Lawrence Henry (Larry)
It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of Larry, after a brave battle with cancer.
Surrounded by family, Larry passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of Katherine (Kathy) for 64 years. Loving father of Peggy Fehrenbach (Ron), Terry (Tracy), Keith (Audrey), Trever and Todd.
Cherished grandfather of Christine, Jeffrey, Tracy, Amanda, Michael, Jennifer, Sara, Laura, Ami and James.
Cherished great-grandfather of Ryker, Arya, Miles, Hayden, Karisa, Kylie, Jaxson, Lydia and Ozzie.
Brother to Leonard (Marie) and Alec (Ann).
Predeceased by his father Edward (1980), sister Sharon (2017) and mother Alice (2019).
Larry was an avid fisherman, hunter, loved his boats and camping. He was at Sauble River Camp for over 35 years. He was a truck driver at Kitchener Packers Meats; maintenance at Kuntz; millwright at Domtar and Lehman Bookbinding.
A special thank you to Dr. Harlick, nurses - Terry, Bernadette, Leya and Singh and the rest of the palliative team for their support and caring during this difficult journey. We would not have been able to carry out dad's wishes without your support for us all!
Private Cremation arrangements are entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home (519) 749-8467, and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
